My kids have never been on social media and I deactivated my FB today due to relatives who I no longer deem trustworthy.
In these times it is not only the stranger we have to watch for. We also have to watch those near to us. Our country is so divided that our own relatives cannot be trusted. People are on edge and will use any slight, real or imaginary to lash out verbally or physically.
Do not trust anyone that even hints at leftism. They might get bent out of shape if you voted wrong and get even with you some way after smiling in your face like an O’Jays backstabber.
From now on, nobody gets anything out of me other than strict business. Even family. If they are so drunk on the kool aid they attack family for voting wrong who needs them? When the rubber meets the road and the fit hits the shan, those angry leftist idiots will probably be the very first to turn us in just because they’re mad.
I’m trying to stay home but sometimes when I go out, people are wanting to talk about the election. I am playing dumb and changing the subject. Nobody needs to know-it’s all rigged-hell, I don’t even vote! I always say I’m not required by law to answer the phone or door. I’m not answering any bullshit questions unless I’m sworn in by a court official. I will just walk away without trying to be polite. Screw that. I’ve had enough.
If we refuse to engage with them maybe they’ll have no choice but to destroy each other-problem solved!
Jesus warned us 2000 years ago...
I am so with you on this. I, too, deactivated my Facebook account for exactly the same reason. I say nothing to anyone about my political views because I do not want to be called names.
I think what leftists did not understand is that for years people on the right have been silenced by their bullying tactics, and they were shocked to find out that we even exist.
