Nyet on that. He is a milquetoast.
If you want a lot of sound, fury and theater, he is your man. Just do not ever expect results because that is not the way the insiders work in D.C.

You hit the nail on the head......Gowdy is a noise machine......no results
All bluster.......

I think people have a misperceptions of what Congress can truly do. They cannot and I repeat CANNOT prosecute. Tell me who knows the law and is not successful at prosecution of law than Gowdy? I’ll give you a hint....as Federal prosecutor he never lost a single case

He is a milquetoast.
Obviously you are disappointed in how the Benghazi hearings developed; so am I. But, there are also other important matters that await action in the justice system. For that, Gowdy is well-qualified, especially if he were in charge of an investigation that cannot be blocked by an Elijah Cummings.
You simply do not know Trey Gowdy or what he is capable of accomplishing, Lx. Or you're a sleeper.

That was my thoughts. We need an outsider as AG more than anywhere else.
There would not be one Clinton team prosecution under Gowdy.

” milquetoast”
A perfect one word description. I once had great expectations for him. That didn’t work out either. Definitely there are some better than Mr. Gowdy.
