Plot Twist: CNN Now Saying That Donald Trump Will Win The Popular Vote; UPDATE: CNN Admits Design Flaw

CNN is now projecting that when all ballots are counted, Donald Trump will win the popular vote. Currently, Clinton is ahead by about 300,000 votes.

Something is reversed there.

See Plot Twist On A Plot Twist: Trump Not Winning Popular Vote, which is, I think, the original source. The tweet you linked to is gone.

You can blame CNN for this error due to a design flaw, but President-elect Donald J. Trump isn't on track to win the popular vote. A flurry of excitement poured in earlier this afternoon when the new outlet's results page had a checkmark next to Trump showing he was the projected winner of the popular vote. That's apparently not happening; it was a design flaw. Still, Donald Trump will be president and he's on track to win 306 electoral votes, as soon as Michigan is called.

The "design flaw" was a graphic that showed Trump as winning the popular vote, even though the popular vote totals showed Crooked taking the popular vote. IOW, the "design flaw" was just a webpage design flaw.

At Plot Twist: CNN Now Saying That Donald Trump Will Win The Popular Vote ...

UPDATE: It turns out that CNN's projection for Trump was a "design flaw." Hillary Clinton is still poised to win the popular vote.

Darn it! ;-)

Note that California alone provides a + 2,708,893 popular vote difference in favor of Clinton. Remove that, and without additional tallies Trumps wins the total popular vote in 49 states.

Maybe yet another reason to consider breaking up Cali into smaller states.

When the MSM reports it to the world I will be overjoyed. Today, mum seems to be the word.

It’s disgraceful that Michigan hasn’t been called yet... the MSM just can’t bear the thought of him breaking 300!

That said, has is 600,000 behind in popular vote, how many ad still left? Everyone points to the CNN article, but I think that’s bogus. Would love to shut down the nasty liberal vermin across the country but if they don’t count absentees, how does President-elect Trump (LOVE the sound of that) narrow the gap?

More importantly, look at the source of him winning MICHIGAN. I’ve never heard off this site, so let’s hold off on the enthusiam. CNN, AP, NYT - none have updated their totals yet

Not happening. Hillary will end up with over one million more popular votes than Trump. Still five million absentee/early votes to count in CA.
