Sen. Joe Minchin delivered a sharp rebuke Friday to Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid for denouncing Americans who elected Donald Trump.
“Senator Harry Reid’s statement today attacking President-elect Trump is wrong! It is an absolute embarrassment to the Senate as an institution, our Democratic party, and the nation,” Mr. Manchin, West Virginia Democrat, said in a statement released late Friday.
“I want to be very clear, he does not speak for me,” said Mr. Manchin, one of the most conservative Democrats in the upper chamber of the U.S. Congress.

Calling Harry Reid an absolute embarrassment is not a “sharp rebuke”; it is a simple truth.
Before anyone gets too excited, his star went R and Trump. Reid isn’t running for reelection.

He’s right, but he’s just scrambling to protect his seat. This is the clown whose daughter brought us $500 epi-pens. He’s just another beltway parasite. We can grab that seat next time.

So much for fear mongering over the alleged power of the Koch brothers. They never supported Trump but he won without them.
Manchin needs to switch parties now. WV went overwhelmingly for Trump and their other US senator is a Republican woman. Seems he definitely has more in common with Republicans and not the Dims who’ve gone a long way toward destroying the coal industry.

Before everyone gets all enamored with Joe, be mindful he is the one who enabled his daughter to slide the system on the now exposed price gouging epi-pen scandal. This is nothing more than advanced cover to keep her scam going in addition to making himself look like a conservative, which he is not.

Since Harry approves of using the IRS as a political weapon, I think Trump should direct them to audit Harry’s tax returns for the past 10 years.
Probably once out-of-state interests attempt to mount a suicide primary challenge, he will switch (and enter the GOP primary).
