Right, and I don’t see a problem letting kids stay on their parents insurance for a while, at least until we get the economy working again and they can get jobs, then phase it out. That’s why Cruz was stupid, ranting on and on about “repeal every word”, when it’s obvious that some kind of transition is going to be necessary to get out of Obamacare just as it was to get into it. Repeal is a given now, the question is what to replace it with that actually does reduce the cost of healthcare and optimizes the private sector role with as little government involvement as possible.
Personally, we have all come to realize that insurance is rather socialistic. All pay for the few.
When insurance originated it was a business model to insure against calamity and catastrophe. Now, look at what it has become.
Since the invention of insurance, the COST of everything has sky rocketed and the QUALITY of everything has gone down.
A calamity is now considered a call to your doctor for strep throat. Why? Because it is insured.
