After five days of anti-Trump protests and mayhem led by left-wing groups, including one linked to top Clinton donor George Soros, Republicans said Sunday that it’s time for Democrats to call off the dogs.
Kellyanne Conway, Republican president-elect Donald Trump’s campaign manager, urged President Obama, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders to use their influence to talk down those she described as “professional” agitators “masquerading as protesters.”
“I think that the President of the United States, Secretary Clinton, Bernie Sanders, perhaps, others can come forward and ask for calm and ask for a peaceful transition and ask their supporters, which are masquerading as protesters now — many of them professional and paid by the way, I’m sure — ask them to give this man a chance so that this country can flourish,” Ms. Conway said on Fox News Sunday.

I had to laugh. On Aussie TV that showed that big fat tub of ugly Michael Moore saying “We are going to overturn this election. This was an illegal election”. I actually think he believes his own nonsense. I burst out laughing which may have not pleased a few lefties in the room. Over here they are still trying to seem intelligent by making half arsed observations about why Trump won but none of them will look at the societal change the left have tried to force down your throats as a trigger for people to want to return to a country that they knew and loved. The really interesting thing about this request is what it assumes. That progressive leaders can “turn off” the protests. I lived through the 60’s and the early Tea Party movement. Those protests happened from the bottom up. They were not turned on and off by puppet masters.

These are actually astroturf protests, bought and paid for by Soros and his ilk.
Ironically, if the Obama economy were not so bad, these paid protestors would probably have real jobs and would not be available for protests. But they are out there, taking money to protest to maintain and intensify the economic troubles that lead to their joblessness in the first place.
Remember how Hillary could not draw large crowds to her rallies? That non-enthusiasm does not suddenly translate to bona fide massive protests.
When Al Gore tried to overturn the election in 2000, people turned out to protest. These were genuine; there were no busses. I participated in those protests; we were polite and non-destructive, picked up our trash, and stepped off the sidewalks when the police asked us to.
