Film director and writer Paul Schrader, who used to be somebody many years ago in Hollywood, has taken to Facebook to call for "violent resistance" to protest the election of Donald Trump. Actually, the keyboard guerilla has gone to the extent of claiming to be willing to take up arms. Schrader claims to be enraged by "alt.right nut jobs" but as you can see in his Friday (ironically Veteran's Day) Facebook post, Schrader is obviously living out his violent fantasies in an alt.world:
I have spent the last five days meditating on Trump's election. Upon consideration, I believe this is a call to violence. I felt the call to violence in the 60's and I feel it now again. This attack on liberty and tolerance will not be solved by appeasement. Obama tried that for eight years. We should finance those who support violence resistance. We should be willing to take arms. Like Old John Brown, I am willing to battle with my children. Alt right nut jobs swagger violence. It's time to actualize that violence, Like by Civil War Michigan predecessors I choose to stand with the black, the brown and the oppressed.

Inciting and inviting violence cuts both ways. Be careful what you wish for.
LOL. “Zero attempt to appease..”. That’s a kneeslapper, fer sure.
And then the icing on the cake. Someone who is clearly from the “citizens don’t have a legitimate right or need for access to fire arms is suddenly ready to “take up arms”. That one is gut busting hilarious.

I live in Central Virginia. My family, my neighbors and I urge you not to bring your violence here. It is not welcome. We are peaceful people and want to be left alone.
Be warned, though, that if you insist on bringing your violence to our homes, my family, my neighbors and I are fully capable of defending ourselves and we will not hesitate to do so.

I thought his name was Paul Schaefer? He was the keyboardist for the early SNL shows and also played in some skits. I didn’t know he was this nuts...wow! I guess his call to arms means he is no longer anti gun?
These mentally deformed nutjobs deserve to be taken seriously when they call for our blood. The democrat party is fanning these flames.
Many on this side are serious people, with serious training, serious experience and serious... equipment. Mr. Shrader wouldn’t like me, seriously.
Oh lookey, another Facebook/social media tough guy, much like Robert DeNiro. These guys remind me of libs in my own extended family-nice guys to your face, but backstabbers and tough guys from a distance. Liberals are disgusting, mentally ill freaks.
