I’m hoping that a senior profession at UVA, a real scholar on Jefferson, will do a good, detailed intellectual rebuttal to these guilt-ridden ignoramuses (one is a psychologist who is probably as crazy as a bat; the other is, I guess, a Political Science professor - they can be just as stupid as psychologists).
And the charge that Jefferson committed “atrocities” against either his slaves or black people in general is further proof of their insanity.
Jefferson’s slaves were reasonable well treated, as some of them wrote.
And Jefferson was “not” the father of Sally Hemmings”. Her own references mentioned “Nathaniel”, Jefferson’s brother.
Never let it be said that universities are the repository of truths, facts, common sense, academic discipline and honest.
If all the Marxist, racist, guilt-ridden professors were taken out of American universities, their sane replacements would raise the employment rate a full percentage point. It is THAT BAD on American campuses today.

Sounds like 469 snowflakes need a personalized letter from the Dean thanking them for inspiring him to help them find a place of “higher learning” more suitable to their sensibilities, and by the beginning of the next semester, so as to minimize their continuing emotional hardship.
Note that most appear to be psychology and gender studies - places where 'feelings' count far more than facts. A wonderful guide to why they are called the soft (squishy) sciences though calling them 'science' is valid only in the most classical sense.
Someone, please, stop this insanity.
