I think with people like Herschel Walker and Ben Carson on board, Trump can wage a very credible campaign to expand his portion of the black vote.
The USFL was not Trump’s finest hour.
It all ended with a $3 jury award. Jurors openly telling reporters afterwards that “we just didn’t think that Donald Trump needed any more money.”
Well, I’m glad that Walker wants to serve in Trump’s administration. But can anybody tell me how and why it is a legitimate and/or Constitutional thing for the Federal Government to even have such a council? Does this council operate on tax payer dollars?

Agreed, but he put his $$$ on the line to help Walker play in the USFL.
I like an owner that lays out the cash to make an effort viable.
Unlike the Ford family, who view the Lions as a “loss-leader” effort. Barry Sanders didn’t retire for physical reasons.
Then, so the story goes, he went home and just chilled.

That is so awesome...and not at all surprising. I bet Trump is the only candidate who can say that one of his supporters ripped the door off a flaming car to save someone!
Maybe after he chilled he went ahead and ate his one meal per day. (Apparently that is his “diet plan”. One meal a day. A good one. But one a day).
Actually that’s exactly the way I heard it. I’m inclined to believe it, too.
