Georgia’s legendary running back Herschel Walker has political ambitions.
Walker told TMZ that he’d like to be on the staff of President-elect Donald Trump.
Walker and Trump are good friends and Walker thinks he’d fit in as the head of the President’s Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, a post currently held by Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Olympic gymnast Dominique Dawes.
Walker was a three-time consensus All-American at Georgia and won the Heisman Trophy in 1982. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1999.
“There’s no doubt I’d be willing to help,” Walker said. “I want this country to continue being the best country in the world. I’m tired of people taking advantage of this country. I’m tired of people not realizing that this is the best country in the world.”

As a FYI, Walker played for Trump’s NY/NJ Generals from the USFL days.
I hope Trump finds a position for him that he will be happy filling.
an incredible athlete. he also made the US Olympic team in a winter sport, like the team bobsledding event I think. And he’s like a 5th degree in some martial art.
Give him a job. Give black kids someone to look up to besides the kneelers and whiners.
There were more than a few current black football players who came out early for Trump but got clobbered and backed off. Same with rappers and singers and actors.
Vince Vaughn was a top A list actor only a few years ago. Came out STRONGLY in favor of 2nd amendment and was blacklisted.
I feel for him.
Heads will explode. Terrific. Wouldn’t it be fun if the administration hired Amarosa and Diamond&Silk (among other free-thinking patriots)

Herschel is a workout warrior. His pushup and sit-up regimen is legendary at UGA. Plus he is a DGD!
Would be a great ambassador to the US.
