Thanks. I have seen the Craigslist ads. Here is what the article says about these ads:

There are clearly progressive organizations that are hoping to use Trump’s election as a tool for organizing. Advocacy groups often hire staff to help organize activities around elections, which appears to be what those Craigslist ads are for. The phone number on several that were passed around link back to the Community Outreach Group, which was mostly hiring for campaign work. MoveOn is certainly hoping to leverage the current moment to its advantage, which includes trying to raise funds from Trump’s win, as its main webpage suggests. Yes, it supports the protests and encourages its members to participate; that’s organizing. That said, the idea that money pours into progressive groups so that they can hire folks to dispatch around the country lacks any grounding in reality.

What retort can I give to my liberal family member about this “explanation” of the Craigs list ads?

Sounds like you might just want to disown the “liberal family member.” It would be a lot easier!

Look up MoveOn online and you will easily find that it is one of the major organizations that Soros funds DIRECTLY. It's like having an attorney set up tons of shell companies for th principal / owner to generate revenue yet leaves their names out of the record or appoints someone to act as a proxy so that their name is not connected to the shell entities yet they still receive compensation grom the shell entities which is pretty common in the business world. The attorney is usually the registered agent and files all the annual reports and deals with the legal issues for a hefty fee of course:

Tell him he's right. He should buy a gun, hammer and sickle, and join the revolution. Otherwise, shut up.

Just say the Soros, Lewis, Steyer, et al are just honest businessmen falsely used in the vast right-wing conspiracy DJT leads. The buses were being used by local schools to transport kids to sporting events and have no ties to anything political.

See how easy it is to convince then you are both on the same side and that you were forced by evil DJT propaganda to espouse his causes else you’d be fired, but secretly wanted HRC to win all along and would join the protests but you have to work, but support their need to join in.

The phone number on several that were passed around link back to the Community Outreach Group, which was mostly hiring for campaign work. “””

1. The 2016 campaign is over...

2. It is WAAAAAY early to be starting the next Presidential campaign...

3. Who is Community Outreach Group?

Obama told us all that he had shut down ACORN, but there was evidence at the time that he had instead fractured the ACORN organization into many, many other groups. Is this group listed here one of those fractures???

4. Would any of these snowflakes be out there is they were not getting paid or getting stirred up by those who are getting paid.??

5. Hard to buy that any of this is spontaneous when there are so many professionally printed signs everywhere.

6. Trump needs to issue search warrants for the records of the BUS COMPANIES who are seen at these events. Local Conservatives need to find those buses & take down license plates, etc, for LEO follow up. Someone is paying for those buses. They cannot take money in without reporting it in their income tax records, and since there is so much damage attached to these protests, search warrants are in order on this topic, IMO.
