Do they work or not? It seems the article confirms they don’t. She’s not “embattled” if she’s selling a faulty product, just another cheat.

Oh BS - the device NEVER did what they claimed. They were saying it could, WITH ONE DROP OF BLOOD, replace multiple current blood tests. Instead they ended up having to contract work out because the device couldn’t due what they claimed - which by the way is a clear violation of 21CFR820.

Design wasn’t validated to ensure customer requirements were met, processes weren’t validated to ensure they alway produced expected results, it goes on and on. In the end it was an adulterated device and the FDA should have had them in court with a consent decree and forced them to stop marketing it - possibly even destroying the inventory. Senior management should have been brought up on charges for their personal involvement in the same - and yes the law allows for that and it happens in the industry.

Bunch of hooey, but they had political protection so they were allowed to stagger forward taking investment money and lining their own pockets.
