Bad cop. Bad shoot.
You cant shoot someone just for saying he has a weapons permit. Cop was told up front he had a carry license. CCW people are among the most trustworthy and law abiding people in America.
Instead of the cop shouting to not move or keep his hands up, he just shoots the guy.
So much for training, or is that cop training these days?

He told the cop that he had a permit and that he was armed. The cop told him not to move, and he moved.

Possible. Almost everything we know is from claims made by the wife.
A trial may be needed to enter into the record matters of fact.
