The free trade, pro globalism, open borders, war mongering conservatism of Levin and his kind is dead.

I know a guy who spent money on Levin TV just before he took this veer off the cliff.

I chuckle to myself, but hey, I hope he learns something.

Yep!

Either of these two fine gentlemen provide a very suitable response to any thread regarding Mark Levin.

What a jerk he is.

That’s a good point. While we have a majority of State legislatures and both houses of Congress and President, we should push Amendments.

I would still like to see a Balanced Budget Amendment, including a clause that there MUST be a budget each year and that it must be LOWER than the previous year’s budget.

Any other Amendments people want to suggest ?

Levin should be very happy, several of the first names on the Trump list so far.... are very much conservatives, so much so that some of us were speculating that the idea is to cause a lot of DNC heart attacks ASAP

Levin needs to take a few weeks off to clear his head..

So far the vast majority of names I have seen floated so far have been excellent.

With Brannon there I even have no problem with Priebus. He needs that network and experience and even needs a few liberal viewpoints around him to keep balance.

Trump has hit the ground running and is doing great! Let’s give him some support or at least space for a few months.

This coming from a hard core Cruz supporter.

___________________

We all knew going in that Trump was not a “Conservative”, nor an ideologue, but more a pragmatist. Trump wants to get certain things done to return our country to a point where common sense reigns. That is neither conservative, nor liberal. American electorate is just a bit right of center. Trump wants to serve all sectors as best as common-sense possible. There is a litmus test on certain things (ie lobbyists), but on social issues perhaps not at the moment.

At the end of the Trump Presidency I want most all Americans to say he did an okay job, (even if some say grudgingly) That is all we can hope for. That the ship of state is righted and set upon a path that is prudent and sensical and that the forgotten man (and woman) is at the forefront of this nation and not the special interests. Is that a conservative principal? I dunno, perhaps, perhaps not.

As for Levin. He’s got three hours of radio to fill. I stopped listening to him during the primaries and turn him off if he happens to come on. At least with Savage...he screams no more politics and starts talking about other things to fill the time.

All of these radio cats are just infotainment anyway. They are just there to sell soap. Are they great thinkers? No. Anyone here on FR can probably argue any of the points these meatballs bring up everyday. But Levin needs controversy to keep everyone tuned in to not only by his books but buy the soap he is peddling.

For pure entertainment value, I prefer Alex Jones. Don’t forget to order the SuperMale Vitality...with nutrisuticals (sp) Alex is good for a scream and a rant...Same with Savage...

Look, Trump may succeed, or he may fail. We hitched our horse to his wagon and he has probably 18 months to set things in motion. If he is a bust, then 2020 is right around the corner. I think he will do what he promised, or at least attempt it. If he gets immigration under control, I think the public will say that was a job well done and give him a pass on other mistakes he is bound to make during his tenure.

I do have a word of advice for his administration. Don’t do email Return to the typewriter. Two reasons. Number one is that typewriters can be hacked. (yeah I know about reading tape, etc) Also, with a paper letter, thoughts are permanent so one has to think before putting something down on paper. Russia has returned to paper and its not a bad idea.

Had the American people followed Levin’s nonsense this year, Clinton would be president.

Rudy’s not a conservative. This site banned people for supporting him in the 2008 primary.

But look who we got instead—leading to eight years of migraines...

I think it was more for the name calling and generally poor conduct. That was such a mess.

I’m so bored of this guy, I’ve tried to give him the benefit of the doubt, but hes unlistenable.

Wish he would just go away.

Everytime I see a thread with him or Beck in it, makes my blood boil.

He's too intoxicated with the idea to understand that the libs could easily infiltrate the convention and put all kinds of Trojan Horses and Easter Eggs into the works.

Come on Whiskers, you are an old enough hand around here did know that is nonsense. Republicans now control 66 of 99 state legislatures and it requires only 17 to stop any "Trojan horse" or "Easter egg."

Levin has learned enough through working inside the Reagan administration and he is smart enough to know that Trump's conservative bona fides are at least questionable and certainly of recent vintage but the real problem is that, not Superman, not any of the 11 apostles, even were any of them to come back as President of the United States, and certainly not Trump, could undo the century long slide into progressivism which has barnacled the Constitution.

We need structural reform not a personality cult.

Mindless dismissal of the constitutionally mandated method of reforming the Constitution in favor of a new Messiah is to guarantee that reforms will be frustrated and those few which are enacted will be undermined. You need structural, that is permanent, reform. It is unfair to Donald Trump to saddle him with expectations no man, not even Ronald Reaganin is time, could fulfill.
