Well heck yeah. Now that we’ve given up control of the interweb. How long before some miscreant starts blocking sites like this? Free exchange of info may have a limited shelf life.

I just do not see how they could do that. If it happened, couldn't the US just form their own internet, then connect to the legacy internet?

Before the Internet, there was the dial-up BBS. Before that there were printing presses, meetings in the home and in the church. I miss those meetings at people’s homes. They were a lot better than conversing through a keyboard.
