WASHINGTON (AP) — President-elect Donald Trump will not derail progress made in fighting climate change and creating clean-energy jobs, the head of the Environmental Protection Agency insisted on Monday in arguing "the inevitability of our clean energy future is bigger than any one person or nation."
EPA chief Gina McCarthy said the world is "in a spectacularly different place today than we were when President (Barack) Obama took office," citing new environmental rules and actions to help create thousands of jobs in renewable energy such as wind and solar power.

The EPA needs to be eliminated. Environment responsibility should be at the state level. Oversight by Department of Interior (under Palin) .

I may be mistaken it was long ago but Reagan had to deal with a democratic congress . of course the democrats would not even allow a cut back in funding........which would not be a real decrease in funding but a decrease in the new funding, not the stable funding...Many people don’t realize that the budget automatically adds 10 % tax increase every year. Cuts in funds comes out of that 10% automatic raise in the budget. if you want to hear screaming, just don’t add 10% to one years budget...keep it the same as last year..
