ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION STATISTICS IN CALIFORNIA:

http://www.newsmax.com/FastFeatures/illegal-immigration-California/2015/09/14/id/691462/

California has the largest number of illegal immigrants in the United States, with an estimated 2.4 million unauthorized immigrants making up about 6.3 percent of the state’s total population, according to the Pew Research Center.

While the number of illegal immigrants in California continues to rise, the increase in other areas of the country is happening at a much faster rate. The nationwide average increase in illegal immigrant populations was about 250 percent from 1990 to 2007, the Pew study said. In California, the rise was 88 percent.

Where are Billy Sherman, Phil Sheridan, U. S. Grant, when we REALLY need them to prevent The People’s Demonratic “Republic” of California? Nice land. Nice weather. Great beaches. Re-education camps for Beach Bunnies and Surfers to recover from relentless indoctrination. Send aliens back to where they came from. State Anthem: Don’t Worry, Baby by Brian Wilson.

I fully support California’s right to exit the union. In fact, I believe it is the best idea I have heard from the leftists. Unfortunately, I see substantial roadblocks:

1. Socialists are moochers and an entirely independent California would not have a federal teet to suckle from.
2. Other leftists in the union would fight tooth and nail to keep them in the union.

The correct phrasing is...”Stronger Together in Our Agenda”

I’d vote to let them leave on the condition that everyone in Hollyweird would have to leave with them, as well as all the illegals.

Did you ever notice that the abbreviation for Cancer and California is CA?

“A state holds no right to secede under federal law.”

Read the Tenth Amendment. There is no prohibition against secession in the Constitution either, meaning that it is a right reserved to the states under Amendment 10.

I think there are enough idiots on the left who think this is a great idea, and enough right-wing guys for “Jefferson” to make this actually happen.

In my scenario...they would succeed, then find that folks in Jefferson want statehood with US, and they’d vote to succeed from the Republic of California. One-third of republic would disappear, and they’d start talking about the problems of security almost immediately.

Are you sure California is a net tax revenue taker?

The black states in the south all are

As are likely some low population farm states due to ag subsidies

But California effed up as many of the voters are and culture is has long been an economic powerhouse

Top ten economy in the world GDP

California is 46 tax mooch list

The top 15 mooch states are except West Virginia and Maine are all heavy black or American Indian states.

Sorry I’d love to blame Caliloca

This idiot thinks a constitutional amendment must be ratified by all the states. The Framers deliberately set the approval ratio at 75% because of their bad experiences under the Articles of Confederation, where a single state could block an idea accepted by all the rest.

Anyway, why would an amendment be necessary? If Congress agreed, why not let California leave?

At least it will be no sooner than 2018...so visitors to California won't need to bring their passports for at least two more years.

The problem for liberal Californians is that the majority of the State is geographically Red. Let the coastal areas secede...let them figure out how to eat.

California is probably the state that gave Hillary her 1 million plus lead in the popular vote.

Hillary won this state by nearly 3 million votes !!

It was a total wipeout for Hillary: 62% to 33%

Hillary took 6.2 million votes, Trump only 3.3 million.

IF they secede, California with all its natural resources will deteriorate into a banana republic.

The culture is the key to success, not the place, weather, or natural wealth, which enviromentalists refuse to utilize anyway.
