Zumwalt is the first of three in the $22-billion class.

Sounds like another example of "The bigger the bundle, the bigger the bungle." -Tom

Meanwhile a sailor gets jailed for taking a selfie on a sub....

Hillary is still freely walking around...

And China is no doubt gathering as much intel on this ship as they can...

Zumwalt is the first of three in the $22-billion class.

The Obama Navy.

A $22 billion ship whose only means pf propulsion is to be towed around by a $1 million tug boat.

Hutchison Whampoa Limited controls former U.S. Naval Station Rodman.

Actually it's PSA International out of Singapore that manages the terminal facility.

The ship was pretty much open to the public before.

Are we not using security forces to keep people off the ship while undergoing repairs?

I am sure there are ports of call that are more dangerous than one in the Canal Zone.

I am somewhat confused...

1. You changed the title of the article—nothing about Chinese in title. BTW, not supposed to change titles....

2. The article does not mention Chinese ownership of the port.

3. Port is controlled by PSA International Pte Ltd, formerly Port of Singapore Authority is one of the world’s largest port operators. Says nothing about China.

So, I was getting ready to send this to a friend with kid in Navy—with all kinds of expletives, but now I am wondering why I should/would do that? Can you please link to your information regarding Chinese ownership.

Cost how much and it leaks? !

“The ship lost propulsion in its port shaft during the transit and the crew saw water intrusion in two of the four bearings that connect to Zumwalt’s port and starboard Advanced Induction Motors (AIMs) to the drive shafts, a defense official told USNI News on Tuesday. The AIMs are the massive electrical motors that are driven by the ship’s gas turbines and in turn electrically power the ship’s systems and drive the shafts.”

Can anybody think of a better way for Obama to sell technology to the ChiComs so he can pay for his recent real estate purchases?
