I can take an ordinary newspaper, and turn it into a deadly weapon. We used to carry pocket knives, as teenagers, and would play “stretch” while outside the Jr. High building, before school started.

We had a popular shooting team and both the student and teacher parking lots were filled with trucks with rifle racks filled with rifles and shot guns.

Most people carried pocket knives and competed to see who could get the coolest one

Never had a problem

You throw the knife between the other guy’s legs, he puts one foot where the knife sticks in th ground, until someone chickens out?
Yeah, I played that with pals in 3rd grade at Wilshire elementary, San Antonio. We used my Scout knife. It was considered very bad form to hit a foot, ankle or calf.
