Attacks against U.S. border agents have been on the rise in the last few weeks. In late October, an agent was assaulted in Calexico, Calif., when he tried to apprehend a man who had just climbed over a section of border fence between the U.S. and Mexico.
And in late October, a border agent was injured when an illegal immigrant threw a block of concrete at him.

Im wondering what the best firearms for Border Agents would be. Should be getting some shortly.
The agents should be able to at least fire warning shots.
Getting their last shots in before the new Sheriff comes to town.

Been like that for years- and worse.
The best firearm is the one you are allowed to use. Rocks and blocks of concrete are deadly weapons. Border Patrol should be allowed (encouraged?) to respond to deadly force with deadly force. Those apprehended without resisting should be returned to their home countries immediately. Those who use deadly force should receive a quick Christian burial.

They claim rocks were thrown but in fact, in the body of the story, they more accurately say "chunks of concrete".
My wife's vehicle had windshields destroyed and major damage done by 60-80 pound slabs of concrete dropped or catapaulted on the vehicle from yards deep into mexico. More that a few agents have been severly injured and even permanently disabled from being hit by "rocks". BTW their vehicles have now been hardened with slat deflectors in the glass areas.
I always get frosted when the LSM talks about rocks like they are pelting the agents with pebbles. The ROEs for self defense are very restrictive. The higher ups in the DOJ value illegal alien criminal health and wellbeing above that of our own Border Patrol Agents (they are not border "guards").
Need to simply shoot them. Trump needs to back up his support for border patrol with aggressive and loose rules of engagement.

The lawyers and DHS told BP agents a couple years ago that they had a responsibility to try to retreat when being "rocked." The Mexicans get all upset when BP shoots people throwing big rocks and blocks of concrete at them.
Then they should shoot back with potato cannon. At least they could have a little fun while defending the border.
