BINGO! You cheap bastards are cheating the system. Pay a living wage and Americans will do the work.

How about american teenagers put down their video games and work after school.

Decades ago, at least in my area, the workers in fast food and some other minimum wage type work, were teens and young adults.

Now, just anecdotal evidence, is that many such jobs are filled by adults, middle aged and older. And, a number of these workers were not born in this country. Can’t speak to their immigration status, just an observation they were from another country. American born teens are a distinct minority in these types of jobs, at least in my area.

The illegal Mexicans work at low-wage jobs BECAUSE they are illegal. If they were legal, they would be on welfare.

You want entry-level workers? Cut WAY back on welfare benefits, to the point where working becomes attractive again.

I find this hard to believe. The real problem is that Mexicans work cheap. When there are too few Americans applying for these jobs it’s time to put the welfare class to work.

Businesses that hire cheap illegal alien labor get rich while the American taxpayer has to pay the extra cost in school taxes, healthcare and insurance providing for those illegals.

It is a lose lose for American citizens.

Anyone with a shortage of Mexicans can have a bunch of those who have moved into the area around my neighborhood over the last several years.

Sometimes in the stores it seems as if we are the only people in there speaking English.

We joke that we don’t have to go to Mexico on vacation because Mexico has come to us.

This is part of the reason why some of the new homes built in North Texas these days are over-priced junk. Cheaply made, thrown up overnight, not worth the amount paid.

I blame food stamps

Liberals and RINOs have constructed a system that pays Americans not to work.

Then they whine that we need more illegals to take their places in the work force.

What nobody here seems to remember is that literally a couple of days afyer his inauguration, Bambi reduced the Mexican and Latin American legal quotas to let in more people “from Muslim lands.” So this illegalized thousands of Latin American people who had been legally living here or legally going back and forth.

The problem isn’t Mexican immigrants, who actually do work, but Muslims, whose countries have a huge legal quota now. But as soon as they get here they usually go directly on welfare - and then start trying to kill us.

THE INFANTILE OWNER

A business owner who cannot attract employees, has poor personal skill sets. He should not be an owner.

He is fearful of hiring older folks with his infantile skills. He cannot attract sober people, hard workers etc.

The Infantile Owner runs to Govt for special privileges because he lacks skills.

"In the San Francisco Bay Area, Joe Hargrave is expanding his successful Tacolicious chain of restaurants, but says he is building smaller ones due to “a massive shortage of restaurant workers.”
Googling minimum wage in San Fran shows $13.00 / hr.

I can imagine that lots of things like pay rates are going to change once Trump starts ironing the wrinkles out of the system.

Corrections, insights welcome.

I own a veteran-owned small business and I definitely do not lament low numbers of Mexicans. NO, I OBJECT TO ANY MEXICANS IN THE US. Period. Send them all home.

Also a reason I will never be a part of any chamber of commerce as they do not represent my interests, either as a small business owner or as an American citizen.

Fools, they just want what’s simplest and cheapest. They don’t want to have to change the way they think and do their hiring. Plenty of people around - get creative in hiring US citizens.
