Golan Heights residents attacked ambulance bringing injured fighters into Israel for medical care

Two residents of the Druze village of Majdal Shams in the Golan Heights pleaded guilty Sunday to manslaughter and aggravated assault for their roles in a deadly attack last year on wounded Syrian fighters being treated in Israel.

Munzir Halil was killed and the wounds of another Syrian fighter were exacerbated, in an incident that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu termed a “lynching” at the time.

This is a travesty. Israel puts the Druze anti-jihadi vigilantes into jail, while caring medically for wounded jihadi vermin and rushing them back into Syria to fight against Assad.

I sincerly hope Trump persuades Israel to stop with this crap.

It is strange Isreal treats wounded ISIS fighters who would easily turn around and kill 20 Jews and celebrate it...

Israel treats everyone who comes hurt no questions asked.

It is an attempt to change hearts and minds not so much of the jihadi wounded but of everyone who sees Israel act with G-d’s mercy and grace.

Whether this is wise is an open question, but it does get a fair amount of press in Egypt and other places.

They will thank you for healing them so they can go on killing you. What’s the point? Turning the other cheek is a Christian virtue, from which we are happily exempt.
