Trump admin to pressure foreign states to probe Clinton Foundation (targeting Haiti and Columbia)

Foreign governments began turning off money spigots to the scandal-scarred Clinton Foundation; it received millions from dozens of foreign governments including Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the Netherlands, Canada, Sweden and Ireland. <><> French federal comptrollers began following a trail of tens of millions in government money that ended up in Clinton Foundation coffers, according to a document reviewed by The NY Post.<><> The Australian government announced that it would end its decade-long affiliation with the Clinton Foundation — amounting to as much as $25 million, according to the foundation’s Web site.<><> Norway is also scaling back; donations reached $25 million in 2015.

A source close to Pres-elect Trump's transition team indicated plans to pressure its yet unnamed US ambassadors to suggest foreign governments probe its Clinton Foundation financial dealings. “Haiti and Colombia will be key diplomatic posts because of all the money involved,” said the source. Recently leaked e-mails indicate “Friends of Bill” Clinton may have been given priority from the State Department as it prepared to spend some $10 billion in aid after a 2010 devastating earthquake in Haiti. The State Dept denied any special treatment.

Canadian mining magnate Frank Giustra pledged $100 million to the foundation in 2005 and later benefited from the foundation’s philanthropic work in Columbia where Giustra acquired large parcels of land and set up an oil business, according to watchdog groups.

I was never for letting her get away with her illegal activity, but I had softened. With this recount crap then F her. Go after her and her family with everything we can , and put her away , and also go after Soros, or hand him over to Russia, seize his assets.

Good point but I could see such a deal coming from a Jeb Bush-not a Trump. He plays hardball.

“I would just order their assets frozen and haveFBI seize them for extradition to the country with the most draconian laws of punishment.”

They were some of her largest donors.

I hope I’m correct, I supported him for many reasons but one big one was that he is a bulldog, not your average squish Republican. I expect him to bring out the sledgehammer once in office.

My personal opinion is that Trump needs to call a high level, secret meeting of “whoever” .... and determie a plan of action for dealing with Soros. Russia wants him dead or alive (so says the rumor mill at a minimum) and I believe at least one other country would like to get their hands on him. The Russians are probably the best choice for neutralizing Soros one way or another .... find a way to give them a crack at him. Soros has meddled in the affairs of this country for far, far too long with the intent of fomenting anarchy & subversion, the end goal of which is destroying our present form of government, and he should be treated as the enemy of the American people that he is.

Canada for all the private funds, centered around Giustra, and including the separate Clinton Foundation entity that was chartered in Canada to avoid US regulations on disclosure of donors!!!

She should count her blessings that she and her crooked husband may be able to get away unscathed and scot-free, but apparently she is too dumb and wants to restart that $#$@ all over. In this case I would say go for it and put her away.

Many of his supporters are upset b/c Pres Donald indicated he might not be prosecuting Hillary and the rest of the treasonous wrong-doers in the private server matter.

KEEP IN MIND W/ Obama, Trump is dealing with a dangerous megalomaniac who still controls the power levers for the next two months.

The Clinton crimes surely reach into the Justice Dept and most likely the Obama WH itself. Trump cannot announce an investigation now. He needs to ease Obama out, change the locks and then drop the hammer.

Trump saying : "Hillary's been through enough" is quite clever.....it serves to mollify the culprits until he can drop the hammer.

=============================================

It is next to impossible to believe Obama knew nothing about the Clinton big buck/intel-selling operation.....he, himself, was surely pocketing a cut of the loot, as long as he played along and acted stupid about what they were doing.

Luckily for us, AG Sessions is not the kind of man who would ignore wrong-doing on the scale of the Clintons' operation.....dismissing treason and espionage for political reasons.

No way.

Chaffetz can keep the investigation alive until Trump's DOJ can move in.

============================================

(hat tip freeper Rockingham) Hillary and Bill should be offered the usual plea bargain for a corrupt officials: a detailed guilty plea, with cooperation and testimony against associates, along with a substantial fine, disgorgement of illegal gains, and at least a year or two of jail time.

Humiliating and painful, but far less than the maximum.

Ideally, the Clintons can then be used to unravel and document their criminal schemes and to prosecute their criminal associates. If of a generous disposition, Trump could then pardon the jail time for the Clintons if they otherwise perform under the plea deal.

You know, I was for letting her walk just to get her out of the picture for God’s sake and finally. But now, after this trickery with the recount

My sentiments exactly.

If a venomous snake is slithering away, you don't chase after it. But if it's proving to be sneaky, keeps coming back...you have to take care of business.

Well, Hillary isn’t doing as badly health wise as we all thought.

Maybe she and her ‘hubby’ are up to a good investigation into CFI and pizza gate after all.

/CLINTONS' QUID PRO QUO UP CLOSE Hillary hadn’t even finished unpacking her things in her new office at the State Department after Barack Obama appointed her when a situation was dumped in her lap. The Swiss government was concerned that the IRS was suing UBS AG – one of the biggest banks in Switzerland – to get them to reveal the identities of tens of thousands of clients. (Wall Street Journal)

If the case proceeded, Switzerland’s largest bank would face an impossible choice: Violate Swiss secrecy laws by handing over the names, or refuse and face criminal charges in U.S. federal court.

Within months, Mrs. Clinton announced a tentative legal settlement—an unusual intervention by the top U.S. diplomat. UBS ultimately turned over information on 4,450 accounts, a fraction of the 52,000 sought by the IRS, an outcome that drew criticism from some lawmakers who wanted a more extensive crackdown.

Well, the Swiss may have gotten off pretty easy, but at least a compromise had been reached, right? Job well done, Mrs. Clinton. Peace is maintained between the US and an influential ally. And now we can all go about our business. Except for one disturbing aspect of the story which cropped up in the following months.

From that point on, UBS’s engagement with the Clinton family’s charitable organization increased. Total donations by UBS to the Clinton Foundation grew from less than $60,000 through 2008 to a cumulative total of about $600,000 by the end of 2014, according the foundation and the bank.

The bank also joined the Clinton Foundation to launch entrepreneurship and inner-city loan programs, through which it lent $32 million. And it paid former president Bill Clinton $1.5 million to participate in a series of question-and-answer sessions with UBS Wealth Management Chief Executive Bob McCann, making UBS his biggest single corporate source of speech income disclosed since he left the White House.

The WSJ is quick to point out that there is no evidence of any link between these events, but at what point does coincidence become too much to ignore? You’re talking about one of the richest, most powerful financial entities on the planet who, up until Clinton took over at state, had given a grand total of $60K to the foundation. (An amount which likely fell well short of how much USB spent on coffee and donuts during the same period.) And then, in a matter of weeks, the cash spigots opened up and increased tenfold over the next six years.

Tens of millions in loans to efforts supported by the foundation were in addition to a direct set of cash deposits into Bill Clinton’s pocket totally $1.5M… not the foundation’s coffers. And if I remember correctly, Bill and Hill were still filing their taxes jointly at the time, weren’t they?

The Swiss bank got a truly sweet deal and millions of dollars flowed immediately thereafter into the accounts of both the Clintons and their foundation. So we are asked to accept that there no causal relationship between these two sets of data points. We can’t prove that there is absent some secret recording turning up, but at what point can the media say that this beggars belief and the empress has no clothes?

Watched an episode of American Greed last night. There was Anne Hathaway’s now ex-boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, on stage with the bloodsucking *Bubba making a fraudulent donation to *Squirt’s Global Initiative. Raffie is currently behind bars.
