Working out of metro Atlanta, I was forced to use them almost exclusively for decades. It is a sh!tball company. I finally got to calling them DELTA -Doesn’t Ever Leave The Airport.

Sorry. Not a lot of sympathy here. I expect this kind of behavior from libs, but not from our own. The 11th Commandment is very clear, Thou shalt not be an @$$hole. We are better than them and should act accordingly.
No matter if he was genuine or a troll, I agree with the airline’s decision. They should have kicked him off before the flight took off and now admitting that, is the reason they are giving the other passengers refunds. Imagine being stuck on a flight with such a person, wondering if he was going to become completely unhinged and do something violent or stupid midair or just go off on another rant. The look on some the passenger’s faces says it all. Most were trying to ignore him but some looked scared.
As to why he hasn’t been identified – Delta probably doesn’t want to release his name for fear of a lawsuit and the guy himself may or should be too embarrassed to come forward.
For those saying this is “fake news” – the video is real. As to whether the guy was trying to make Trump supporters look bad? Unknown. Certainly there have been many vandalism and threat hoaxes that turned out to be by people trying to make Trump and his supporters look bad. But I also think we need to be careful not to label all as such before getting any facts. I think there are a few who would and do act this way and we shouldn’t excuse their bad behavior. As others have said, “we are supposed to be better than that”.
I would hope we can all agree that whether a Trump supporter or a hoaxster, his behavior and foul mouthed rant was unacceptable.
The country as a whole is losing it.

I was on that flight. That asshole made us 45 minutes late. Delta admitted it should have kicked him off. They also credited my frequent flyer account 20K miles and refunded my airfare (which my employer may appreciate). They’ve also sent two emails and called me about it. Overall, I’d say they recognized their mistake and reacted well.
