Next year will mark the 25th anniversary of the 1992 establishment of full diplomatic relations between Israel and India.

India signed a $1.4 billion contract with Israel Aerospace Industries earlier this month for the acquisition of two airborne early warning and control radar systems and ten unmanned aerial vehicles, Air&Cosmos International reported this week.
The deal was said to have been inked during Israeli President Reuven Rivlin’s recent six-day visit to India.
An Indian Air Force official quoted in the report said a pair of EL/W-2090 AEW&C systems — with a combined value of $1 billion — would be delivered to India within two to three years.
Furthermore, according to the report, the Indian military is set to receive ten armed Heron TP UAVs — worth a total of $400 million ...

It’s not just the STUFF, it’s a relationship:
With a sale like this there an ongoing relationship involving maitenance, upgrades, training, etc.
It’s a missed opportunity and THERE IS A REASON FOR THE MISSED OPPORTUNITY.
And we all know WHO that reason is.
India and Israel both know what it is like to live next to terrorist states.
It’s why we’re natural allies. We’re eastern minorities. Trump may have the best will in the world towards Israel, but as long as the US remains dependent on Middle Eastern oil and the MSM and permanent government keep their heads firmly up their arses, we can’t have a perfect alliance.
