The easiest and first one should be to make U6 the Official US Unemployement rate. The win would be two-fold: easier to exposit the other stats into U6 as a matter of course (ie, people out of workforce actually informs U6); and two, bringing U6 down will be dramatic as President Trump revives manufacturing vs U3 which is pushing a string at this point.
