Right now, in the college football world, Alabama is a man among boys.

They’ve lost a lot in the secondary and now a top LB. A hot QB could cause them some problems.

QB really doesn’t have a passing game. Hopefully that comes around for the playoffs.

Hamilton is done for the rest of the season but from what I have seen over their years their depth rises to the occasion. Look at what OJ Howard did in the NC game last year. Great coaching and outstanding recruiting makes this team great.

Alabama D backs are better than any other teams running backs.

Bama’s getting thin on defense. Especially in the backfield.

Let’s see. Starting nickel back, Mo Smith, transferred before season. Kendell Sheffield, promising backup, transferred. Eddie Jackson, best defensive back and punt returner. Broken leg. Marlon Humphrey, starter, out with hamstring.

Then last night we lose Shean Hamilton, starting linebacker, to a knee.

Alabama can plug and play but we can’t afford to lose anyone else. Maybe we can get healthy between now and the playoffs. But Eddie Jackson and Shawn Hamilton are out for season.

But really, I can’t see another team standing toe to toe with Alabama and winning. Even with Bama not at their best. Played like crap last night for most of the first half and somehow had 16 pts with -7 yards offense at one time.

Crazy.....

Saban was on Cleveland’s staff when Belichick coached the team.

I swear, Alabama looked like they should have been playing on Sundays. I had thought Clemson might be on Alabama’s level, but they failed to impress me much yesterday against VT.

The Tide seems to start every game slowly and with a couple of mistakes but consistently picks up from there.

The Gators 16 points were just part of the way Alabama plays.

I’m not excusing it, but that’s the way the entire season has appeared to me.

One key for Bama is to avoid believing all of the hype regarding this team. Overconfidence in the face of a determined opponent can lead to an embarrassing upset.

Defense/special teams scored those points.

I don't know why Kiffin waits till the second half to get the running stars into the game. Why do you keep a running back like Scarborough on the sidelines?

Hurts had better work on his passing game this off-season....he has to many intersections and flat-out misses.

I expect Kiffin to go to Houston...who will be the new offensive coordinator?

If Jalen Hurts catches fire in the passing game, no one would want to get in their way.

I believe the defense is better than they were last year. The offense is a little behind. Jalen is a great runner and I hope his passing game improves. We have some good RBs but you don’t just replace a Derrick Henry every year.

OSU and Clemson both gave Alabama all they wanted the last time those teams faced.

We can win by 80 points and I’ll still be stressed.

You’re so right. We’ve seen it happen to teams before.

Ahhhh, yes. Back in the good old days, when the Browns were a contender most years.

He is good enough in passing game to win but I agree if he turns it up even a little it will be fun to watch. I expect him to for the playoffs. Scarborough is playing fantastic.

Blam, probably to avoid injuries until he's needed.

They did the same with Eddy Lacey a few years back.

Did you notice Florida had a defensive back named Chauncey Gardner (23) ?

They like to spot the other team a few so that it looks competitive for a few minutes.
