If Bolton is a neo whatever what is Gen. P? As UN ambassador he had to tell people to sign on to fight with us, impose sanctions, and cooperate with GWB.

It was not his policy, but he got the Bush job done.

I also am always agreeing with him on Fux, seems like Mattis and Flynn a no BS kind of guy.

I like Bolton myself; he did pen that NY Times editorial to bomb Iran.

http://www.nytimes.com/2015/03/26/opinion/to-stop-irans-bomb-bomb-iran.html

That won’t go over with a lot of people. I do enjoy hearing him speak, he is very informed.

How does Mohammed Ali stack against Joe frazier?

How does Freerepublic stack against DU?

Google vs Facebook?

Hall vs Oates?

You get the picture.

With all due respect, the information in that link is completely irrelevant.

1. As one of the foremost "neo-cons" in America, Frank Gaffney has a vested interest in defending someone like Bolton who has the same foreign/military policy agenda.

2. My criticism of Bolton has nothing to do with his role (or lack thereof) in any "Iraq war planning" during the Bush administration. My main criticism of Bolton is that he had been pushing for an invasion of Iraq for years before Bush was even in office, even though: (A) it was not in America's best interests, and (B) it was likely to have disastrous consequences for America and the people of Iraq.

If Bolton is a neo whatever what is Gen. P?

He is a retired general, a former CIA Director, and a convicted criminal.

I'm not sure why you ask this question. I wouldn't hire Petraeus to clean the toilets in a national park.

My pick of these 4. But, my opinion don't matter. Yet.

Your opinion is not without value and I conclude it is the right call. Now let's see if Trump agrees. Bolton has a macro world view built on years of experience that will serve him well in the post. When you link Mattis with him you have a winning combination, one that will restore America's leadership in the world.

“DQ. Petraeus (disqualified due to criminal record)
They can’t possibly be seriously considering Petraeus as a candidate for this post.”

My objection to Petraeus is that he was foolish enough to jump in with the obama administration and when Petraeus’ usefulness was complete, obama and thugs through him to the wolves. He should have known better than to trust obama or anyone in that administration. Just my personal opinion.

“Didn’t I read Petraeus and Mark Kelly are in cahoots with some anti-gun thing?”

Yes you did and that is why he is not qualified among other reasons.

The State Department requires a huge purge. Unless this is done, Trump will see his policies undermined and simply not implemented. Bolton without question would be the best choice.

Palin might still be a dark horse in this race but still would be a good choice... I think she would be reasonably quick to come up to speed (after all she was a VP candidate 8 years ago), and the annoyance factor to liberals would be worth any ramp up time penalty.

..there’s the interventionist wing of neocons, then there are New World Order types. IMO Bolton is in the first group. He would be Trump’s SOS, therefore I would have no problem...

I heard that the ONLY position he will accept is SoS, IF that’s true he deserves no position in the Trump Administration.

There’s the ‘dark horse consensus candidate’ coming up, according to the Washington Examiner article (written by Paul Bedard) yesterday and it’s Rep. Dana Rohrabacher of California and chair of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee. He was apparently offered the Deputy SOS under Romney but refused, saying he wouldn’t serve under someone who didn’t back Trump’s policies! He’s in agreement with all Trump foreign policies and remained loyal to Trump when others turned against him. Now they are floating him for SOS. He did a long 4-hour(!) phone interview with Bannon and Thiel and is heading to Trump Tower this week. Bolton is being floated as the Deputy now.

On twitter, Porosbiec, Cernovich and Bill Mitchell are all for Rohrabacher, so that’s a good sign as they’re very anti-Romney. Looks like Romney might be out (good riddance)!

Romney is a miserable, lying sleazebag who will say anything at all that serves his own personal interests at any given moment.

In 2012, when he wanted (and received) Trump’s endorsement for his doomed presidential campaign, he spoke about about Trump in the most glowing, obsequious terms:

Romney thanks Trump for endorsement.

But in 2016, all of a sudden Trump was a liar, a con man and a failure as a business man.

As the above video shows, Romney doesn't have an ounce of integrity, and shouldn’t be anywhere near the Trump administration – or any other administration, for that matter.
