Correct grammar is dying in America. “I” and “me” seems to cause even college graduates confusion. And commas, well, even worse.

As well as she and her and he and him. My mother (an English teacher) used to blame it on TV because even the “talking heads” made glaring errors (as they still do), to say nothing of the colloquial speech of the actors (which is forgivable if it mirrors the characters they are playing.)

My 16 year old daughter is currently in Honors English III. For years she corrects something in every other sentence I speak. Sometimes it drives me crazy but she plans to be an English teacher so she’ll be great at it.

YES! I just heard John Bolton make his point on Fox Business News and he said, “The idea that an American President cannot talk to WHOMEVER...”

Yes! The Ambassador speaks good English, and all the naysayers around here can go pound sand! The error was by the nitwit journalists.
