I was always amazed when people seemed to like this clown. But then, he had a show opposite what? Springer?
And that failed.....
Well, he was better at faking sincerity than most of the 2nd string talk show clowns. That whole “let me pull up my chair real close and look them in the eye” bit was pretty good theater.
