Yes. I think he left his brain on orbit. I had trouble reconciling "Heroic Marine Aviator and Astronaut John Glenn" with "Dirtbag Politician John Glenn". The only thing I could figure was that something catastrophic happened in between NASA and the Senate, and changed him permanently and for the worse.

Why? Glenn had a respectable military career. McCain did not.
John Glenn's Senate voting record is as relevant to his life as is his Marine and NASA service record. Truth is truth. It is the height of cowardice to hide the truth.

If John Glenn didn't want to be remembered as a supporter of abortion, gun control and socialism then he shouldn't have used his time in the Senate to support abortion, gun control and socialism.
I assume that he considered supporting abortion, gun control, and socialism to be praiseworthy things or he wouldn't have done so. I'm sure your friends at DUmp are praising him for supporting abortion, gun control and socialism.
