Should they win their long-shot lawsuit, it will have no effect in Colorado — Mrs. Clinton won the state and its nine Electoral College votes.

But wouldn't the change mean that Colorado electors could vote for Trump?

But similar laws in other states that voted for Mr. Trump would also be invalid, meaning all 538 members of the Electoral College could vote for whomever they wished — at least potentially undoing the result of the election.

I thought each state set their own rules. This sounds like wishful thinking on somebody's part.

If it is ruled that these laws are unconstitutional then that would apply everywhere.

The Colorado electors want to vote for Kasich or McCain and want other electors in other states to do the same and prevent Trump from the 270.

They both say Trump and Pence are not qualified. Ah, the wisdom of College professors.

Those two don't want to change their votes. They want the Trump Electors to change votes.
