It’s not about Air Force One or China. It’s about Boeing gouging the taxpayers.

Boeing needs to leave Chicago if Rahm can’t get Chicago squared away in the next year.

I suggest the executives of Boeing read “The Art of the Deal” then maybe they can negotiate.

Yes, and the Ex-Im Bank. Boeing has been it’s “largest customer” for years, using the taxpayers money to finance their foreign market entry. If Boeing is smart, those presidential airliners will be free.

What Trump is concerned about is China requiring Boeing to build manufacturing and engineering facilities in China, have China steal the designs and manufacturing techniques, set up its own aircraft manufacturing, and then undercut Boeing in the international market.

How about paying it forward, Boeing? Show a little gratitude to the taxpayers for all the money of their's that's been funneled your way over the decades.

China has bet roughly equally on new airliners from Europe and the U.S. to build its airlines. At the same time, China is cultivating its own commercial airliner industry to one day compete with Boeing and Airbus. Boeing is a significant consideration in our dealings with China, but those considerations should not prevent Trump from making major changes in our trade with China. An almost $400 billion annual trade deficit (and growing) with China is what Trump should focus on and the poor past decisions that led to such a huge deficit with one nation.
And no one should forget China's ultimate goal in commercial airliners and most any other product one can name.

I agree. More fake news from CNN.
To: Steelfish
Boeing has to be reined in. No plant in China and no deal with the terrorist state of Iran. Obama always trying to help rivals and enemies.

You mean...Like China has an MO?
A friend of mine worked at a large company. He said when the Chinese came to visit, they had to hide everything they could....cuz they knew they were there for one reason....to steal from us.
