So you don’t think in 25 plus years there would not have been something of value, something he felt he needed to do for his constituents, or the whole country that needed a legislative remedy? With that thought process, WTF, let’s just close Capitol Hill and send everyone home for good! I surely do hope the Congress enacts legislation that makes the Second Amendment the RIGHT that it is for once and for all. Would you consider that valuable legislation?

You answered your own question. He served about 25 years. Do you think his constituents would have re-elected him if they felt he did not offer constituent services, or speak on behalf of freedom, liberty and the Constitution?

Congress doesn’t legislate Constitutional rights, thankfully, or there wouldn’t be any left. They only limit them. You may have heard, Congress passes all kinds of legislation in violation of Article 1 Section 8. Would you consider that type of legislation to be “effective”?
