Yes, I saw another article about this same panic in the Washington Post. I also heard a talk Rex Tillerson gave to some MBA students, and he spoke quite a bit about ExxonMobil’s climate research. They have top scientists doing basic research on many topics, including climate change, and they had two of the first members of the IPCC, and have been involved in climate change studies since the beginning.
