I like RexT. Listened to his talk at the Economic Club on wide range of topics. Trump is right to select him! Down to earth man!
Campaign is over. This is governing. Little Marco can blow it all up by himself. OTOH, maybe the Chamber of Commerce will want their guy as Sec. of State and Marco will fold. It doesn’t get any more mainline Chamber of Crony capitalist than Exxon. Lovely.

He takes action. He has experience. He’s not a career politician who are known for all fake talk and no action that helps the American people. Many fake long term politicians only care about power, money and fame. And many have an ego such as John McCain who will never get over that Trump won and he didn’t. Same with Jeb Bush. And Lindsey Graham. They are jealous that the American people wanted Trump as President over them.

The senate conservatives need to stand up to McCain, McConnell, Graham and Rubio if they try to pull any shenanigans.
If they even try to play that card, they will be full blown exposed as the closet liberals they are. If they go against Trumps SoS pick, it will be a sign they are comfortable removing the mask and letting their constituents know they are stealth liberals posing as republicans.

I agree. I’ve slammed Newt so much and I am loving his commentary lately. He was awesome just now on Hannity (watching it a bit late).
He said that Obama wants a full investigation into this “Russian hack” — in other words, Obama’s own national security messed up completely, total failure, and now Obama is up in arms at finding out how horrible his own administration is on national security!
Also, at one point with a twinkle in his eye Newt said he now believes that the 20 year defunct KGB was indeed behind the whole thing. They forced Hillary to put up an insecure server in a bathroom and use it for all state department business, forced her to act completely incompetently, lying about it, deleting emails. She was supposed to win the election but the Russians forced her to be incompetent!!!
The way he looks at this, it becomes so preposterous. Ha! That is what they are saying! Hillary’s incompetence ISNT HER FAULT! Putin made her be such a loser!!

But there will be a vote and there are already three republicans who say they may vote against Tillerson and you know there will not be one democrat voting to confirm.
Sort of like Trump.
Now, if he gets confirmed then he can come back to other hearings and let loose, but not during his confirmation hearing.

I urge you to watch Mr. Tillerson deliver this addresses at the Boy Scouts of America Orange County Council Leadership Breakfast on October 13, 2016 at the Hotel Irvine in Irvine, California. He is amazing. The values he holds dear are antithetical to everything Obama and cronies have been pushing down the nation’s throat for eight interminable years. His belief in Scouting and his values alone highly recommend him.

Keep your eye on Joe Manchin. He may be on the verge of flipping to R. He is not comfortable with the Ds in D.C. It's obvious when you see him going up to talk to Trump.
