They often include homosexual behavior in movies. Just saw Allied, Brad Pitt and Marian Cotillard. In the movie, flying Ace/Spy Brad Pitt has a lovely and sympathetic sister who is lesbian, flung in for no reason at all, with her lesbian partner, kissing in a pub (in the 40’s yet) with people cheering them on. I lived in Britain in the 40’s...believe me, this would NEVER have occurred. It was so irrelevant to the plot and I was really annoyed to see that in this movie.
Yep. You would think they were fighting segregation and Jim Crow with this crap. It is subtle, not so subtle, dangerous and disgusting. Its a behavior neither moral nor condoned by western civilization - or any other I am aware of.
