Kennedy wasn’t perfect but he understood the military industrial complex and he damn sure knew the evils of a totally corrupt CIA.
Kennedy is a mixed bag. He was problematic in certain ways, no doubt about it, but I also think he was way way head and shoulders better than any Democrat that has been president since. Course that isn’t saying much is it.
Truman was probably the last Democrat that was mostly decent.
