Why Do Liberals Keep Calling Trump a Racist?
American Thinker ^ | December 14, 2016 | Deborah C. Tyler

On November 29, while speaking about flag-burning on MSNBC's Hardball, former U.S. representative Barney Frank said the late Justice Antonin Scalia was "the leading advocate of fag-burning." The interviewer, Chris Matthews, reacted to the hideous expression with amusement.

Mr. Frank's image of Scalia as fag-burner dramatically illustrates what psychologists call a relational frame. His absurd and abusive statement is evidence that he is cognitively fused to a relational frame that is contextually functional for him.

For years, left-wing ideologues like Frank have sounded mentally ill, in part because of their outlandish vilification of people they disagree with. The left wing no longer bothers to speak of rulings, writings, or positions. Rather, leftists relate people they disagree with to racism, sexism, and other phobias. Clinically, this can be understood, through Relational Frame Theory (RFT), as mental fusions with hateful relational frames.

No American has witnessed a person being burned alive due to sexual orientation, or even seen images of such an outrage. Even in Islamic areas where homosexual people are publicly put to death, those punishments are not inflicted through burning. The idea that a venerated Supreme Court justice would advocate death by burning is insane. Yet Chris Matthews understood the meaning of Frank's words and reacted with laughter. This is due to the infinite capacity of the language-based human mind to create and communicate relational frames.

Why Do Liberals Keep Calling Trump a Racist?

To paraphrase the Geico commercials, it's what they do.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”Joseph Goebbels:
On the “Big Lie”

Best answer here, but I would respectfully modify it to “it’s what they do when they have no logical, rational, or true evidence to support their argument.”

It’s a playground tactic and the vast majority of America is tired of this worn out BS.

Because they've lost the argument, it's like calling someone Hitler.

Ignore but laugh at them.

Becasue like many here they do not know the definition of the word “racist” nor do they understand that there are five and only five races.

White, Yellow, Red, Black and mixed.

Because they have no morals, and it just feel right to them to label others for what they themselves are.

Marketing works for many people, and Hillary spent hundreds of millions to push the "Trump's a racist" narrative. The plan to call Trump (or whomever the GOP nominee would be) racist was developed by Podesta early on in Hillary's campaign (as we saw in the leaked emails).

The Dems effectively used the "you're a racist" bit to shut down any and all criticism of Obama, and that worked pretty well. I don't get why Hillary thought that would work for a white woman... but then she's not all that bright.

Why? They had nothing else. They didn't have any big league scandals on Trump. He had no hand in previous decades longs destructive government policies....They had zip, nothing.

So they pulled the only thing left...

They know that they are finished if their constituency abandons identity politics and starts to think of themselves as American rather than ______-American. You convince some people that repubs/Trump is racist and they won’t even give the party/President a chance to appeal to them.

We are reaching the point where the reply is going to be “so what?” The unintended consequences of the Left just being s__tty people.

One needs to look no further tham Rush Limbaugh’s career for answers to questions like this. When Rush hit the big time the left portrayed him as a racist and a hater. Turns out in most cases the person heard that from somebody else or read it somewhere. All of it was BS. Those who checked firsthand found Rush was nothing of the sort. Those who tried to attach all of those second hand wrong quotes to him came out looking foolish in the end.
