I agree, give them a choice.

Yes, Gilmore chose the firing squad but like you I don’t know either if Utah still has it.

“Gray claims he doesn’t remember the killings because he was high on PCP.”

Give him PCP and then administer the hot shots. Problemo solvedo.

$300 worth of heroin works nicely. Ask any EMT?

So what is the problem with Carbon Monoxide? It’s cheap and apparently painless. The victims just go to sleep. Ditto natural gas.

What is unbelievable is that Virginia spent $66k for the drugs to execute 2 people.
Big Pharma.

Not Big Pharma. Not this time. A compounding pharmacy with obvious connections. IOW, they made it from scratch on the cheap. Can you say K-I-C-K-B-A-C-K ? Sure you can.

Why can vets put down animals humanely without a bunch of pain and suffering, yet we can’t put our dirt bags down...?

Gray was convicted of killing Bryan and Kathryn Harvey and their 9-year-old and 4-year-old daughters during a home invasion. Bryan was a musician and Kathryn was co-owner of the World of Mirth toy store.

Kill him.

The perp.

The family he killed.

And he's been implicated in other murders.

For most of this country’s history, hanging by the neck until dead worked just fine. Bring back the gallows, preferably in front of the court house so other can see what happens when you commit murder.

Talk about a markeup. What is the cost at the local vet?

I believe they got some pharmacist to create the drug. No big company wants the liability. And the prison system does not want the liability (nor the PR issues) from using vet drugs.

If the prisoner is deemed to have "excessively suffered", his family's lawyers will be looking to sue everybody, including the pharmacist. The pharmacist's liability insurance does not cover manufacture of execution drugs. The pharmacist also risks harassment from Leftists and BLM (possibly including having his home firebombed) if his identity gets revealed.

Under such circumstances, what would YOU charge, to compensate for the risks?
