Why didn’t they ask Clinton do divest of conflict of interest when she became SoS?

Because she is “special” apparently. According to Comey at least, regular people should not try the things Clinton did and expect to get away with it.

""The American people deserve to know that the President of the United States is working to do what's best for the country — not using his office to do what's best for himself and his businesses," the Massachusetts Democrat said."

And they say this stuff with a straight face....smh

So let me get this straight. They are going to submit legislation, and expect both the House and Senate to vote on it before January 20, and expect it to pass. If it is voted and passed, then Trump will sign it.

These are people who have the highest integrity.

I thought Trump already has agreed to do this without be told to or forced to?

I think every Democrat should immediately sell any stock or mutual fund as they have an interest in a major corporation and that may taint their ability to objectively vote on legislation.

Of course, Hillary had no conflicts of interest. She just piled up those billions by accident.

Please note how the bill does not also apply to Senators.

A group of Senate Democrats will introduce legislation requiring President-elect Donald Trump to divest any financial assets that pose a conflict of interest and place the money into a blind trust.

Bill? DemonRAT Legislation?

Bwahahaha... yeah, and that’s ALL Democrats can do at this point — introduce bills. All their introduced bills will pile up and go straight to some committee never to be seen or heard from again.

I don't know what senate committee this bill will be submitted to, but I believe all committees have GOP majorities...and this particular piece of legislation will never get out of committee and to the floor for a vote....unless there are turncoats.

I'm not wasting any time worrying about this, to be sure. Just more theater of the absurd.
