Something needs to be done about these colleges that are so communist. Maybe states such as Wisconsin should create coordinate colleges on the campuses of their once great universities, where it is safe to have opinions that deviate from communist orthodoxy.
“Diversity” is one of those terms that changes meaning depending on who is using it. For the ultra-uber-alt-left that dominates the UW-Madison campus, it is purely based on sexual orientation and skin color, no conservative heterosexual Caucasians need apply.
Many years ago (1960s), I worked on the campus (civil service) and I ran into this attitude over and over. Bascom Hill was the rallying point for many of the early anti-war rallies, and there were even bombings on the campus of various facilities that were doing contract work for DOD, and of the ROTC centers. I believe ROTC was driven off the campus entirely, and a number of “cultural programs” were set up to accommodate the new wave of activist students (many of whom were from out-of-state) that swarmed over the campus.
They were not a pretty sight then, and things have not improved.
Start relentlessly suing the universities for assault against free speech or a professor that grades based on political agenda.
