Very Bad event. First Turkey shoots down Russian Aircraft, not a Turkish Policeman shoots and kills the Russian Ambassador to Turkey.
Turkey is trying to blame it on Gulen, but assassin gave the hand sign of Islamist Terrorists.

The cop better already have his family out of the country with new identities. Russia won’t ignore this or blame it on a video.

I’m trying to figure out what horrible things a person must do in life to get appointed as an ambassador to an Islamic country.

I hate to sound dramatic, but this is the kind of thing that leads to war.

I’m assuming the cop never heard about Franz Ferdinand.

This is the biggest news of the day. If the Turkish government is behind this then war is a real possibility.
Would NATO side eith the Turks?
Will Hussain drag us into it in a last minute power grab to nullify our election?
This can spiral out of control very quickly.

Turkey isn’t poking the bear.
IMO China or the US is behind it. Or it could just be some nut.
Gulen will be blamed. There’ll be even more of a crackdown on them.

Ask Ambassador Stevens about it. If you can reach him where he wound up.

Turkey belongs to NATO. In the unlikely event Russia invades Turkey, WW3 is on.
One of the reasons NATO is obsolete.
