The news just broke that today the Charlotte City Council repealed the ordinance that was the start of the entire HB2 controversy. This proves the whole thing was a setup from the very beginning in order to elect a governor from the democratic party. The current Governor Pat McCrory is calling a special session of the legislature on Wednesday to repeal HB2. Governor-elect Roy Cooper has been saying that HE was going to repeal it, which he would have no power to do on his own! I am glad he will not get the credit for it!
