So, there is this, then there is Ford announcing temporary shut downs of factories a few weeks ago due to high inventory, and now GM announces today that they are temporarily shutting down five factories for the same reason, idling 10,000 workers.

Is there something afoot that nobody wants to talk about?

I don’t believe so. The ripple effects of the obama economy will be felt for months, if not years. An economy this large doesn’t turn around on a dime.

I would give, in my unprofessional opinion, the real economy 9 months to begin to turn around in earnest before attaching credit or blame to the President’s policies. One thing Trump IS responsible for, even now, is the spike up in confidence.

But plenty of land mines out there such as the enormous national debt, public and private pension funds going broke, the possibility of WW3, civil war, effects of years of unchecked illegal invasion (don’t forget the soon to be 600,000 clamoring to get across the Rio Grande by Venezuelans), and those who are working 24/7 to take down America. None of that has anything to do with The Donald.
