Donald Trump taunts Bill Clinton: Doesn’t know how to get out the vote

President-elect Donald Trump taunted former President Bill Clinton on Tuesday, chiding his political acumen and attempting to correct the record on who reached out first with a recent phone call.

“Bill Clinton stated that I called him after the election. Wrong, he called me (with a very nice congratulations). He ‘doesn’t know much’ …,” Mr. Trump tweeted, “especially how to get people, even with an unlimited budget, out to vote in the vital swing states ( and more). They focused on wrong states.”

The remarks were an apparent response to a recent editorial published by the Record-Review, a local newspaper in New York, in which an unidentified writer relays a story of running into the former president at a local bookstore recently.

Bill and Hill relied on 20th century tactics and didn’t hear the voices of Americans. That’s what happens when you listen to your pay to players.

Bill was a smart politician. I think the problem was that Hillary wouldn’t take his or anyone else’s advise. She thought she had in the bag.

Even though this is a minor issue and could be overlooked, it is refreshing to see that Trump will stand up for himself instead of just taking it as had been the case during the bushies tenure.

HRC is also a terrible politician. She’s very unlikeable, and her team knew it - trotting out Barry, Mooch, Bubba, Chelsea, Rock stars, and just about everybody except HRC to campaign.

Bill beat HW Bush and Dole, with the help of Perot in the race. His biggest accomplishment was midnight basketball until Newt came in and completely took over the agenda for the next 6 years

Wow! To Democrats Bill Clinton is a political Einstein, Solomon and Svengali all rolled into one.

Trump likes to head straight for the jugular, eh?

Most of her inner circle told her only what she wanted to hear in order to stay in good with her. Anyone who dared tell her she was wrong about anything was ignored.

I remember Trump said this in an interview or at a rally right after the election that Bill Clinton called him.

What may be most on Bill Clinton’s mind is that with Hillary’s loss the FBI can still put both of them in jail.

How long before the vile press starts complaining that Trump is attacking a poor, sick old man?

He really didn't want her to win. Otherwise he would have BLASTED the campaign circuit with: VOTE FOR MY WIFE. SHE'S THE BEST.

He seemed MOST SILENT.

That sounds like the FIRST and worst of the seven deadly sins (Catholic Church): PRIDE.

I remember that too, they must think most people are stupid and there are no news articles from right after the election about it. They ARE THE STUPID ONES. My head no longer spins from their insanity!

Just hang in there until after the inauguration when he doesn’t have to be so polite. He is stringing the Obamas along right now but man-o-man when Roberts says congratulations after “So help me God” . . . .

I think great minds think alike.. reason I say that

I use the the Grant analogy about Trump ( I can’t spare this man he fights), and also use Trump is America middle finger..

I use these before I saw anybody else use them

but I do not claim I invent them ...

I’ve seen these analogies used over and over and I think people independently all over came to the same opinions and analogies because it’s all the same qualities about Trump in this campaign

I think when people independently come up with the same it tells you a lot because multiple independent peoples are saying and seeing the same thing
