I seem to the recall the dominant feature of the “dark days of the 1930s was that the leaders of the Western Europe ignored an political/ideological movement which was an obvious existential threat, rather than confront it.

Jews, Hindus, and Buddhists are not proselytizers at all, much less ‘proselytizers’ who feel it is holy to use violence. Dishonest comparisons of Islam with those religions are evil from the outset.

There are rather significant differences between the behavior of Jewish refugees in the 1930s and the behavior of today’s “refugees”. Even thought it is not all of today’s “refugees”, those differences must be considered by responsible people.
