I despise those “Stolen Valor” people. I’m a lowly ex-Aviation sailor from the 70’s and 80’s. I helped Marines off the flight deck so they could fight for me, my family, friends, and our Country. Anyone who claims such should be prosecuted and sent to jail. At my old age, if I encountered one, my fist would go to his jaw and hope I break it and I will pay the consequences. They deserve no mercy.
I’m with you all the way. While I was on Submarines (retired 93, STSCS(SS)), we did some “taxi” service for some interesting people.
What I would like to see is these fake Seals, USMC Recon, USA SOC, USAF SOC, etc. do is complete a specialty course with the real men who really do what these fakes impersonate.
