Goodness, if diversity isn’t working in suburban SF maybe it won’t work at all. Maybe it’s contrary to unity and community, almost by definition. That said, this story gets filed under s__t that never happened.

During my entire working life, I've seen nothing but the media, the companies that I work for, and the legal system, give privilege to everybody but white males.
I did not read the article, but my immediate reaction to the first sentences was not to believe them.
The gist is this: Would your life have been harder or easier if you were not white?
If I had dark skin color, I would have been granted special privileges on test scores. I would have been showered with scholarships for Ivy league schools. I would have been protected from being looked at cross eyed by any white person, and bosses would have had to be very careful about how they acted in my presence.
Driving in strange territory, I might have been pulled over more frequently, but as I dislike and stay out of large cities, it seems unlikely.
Look at how President Obama has been treated to get a good look at what being black gives you, if you work to become educated and learn to act fairly civilized.
It got him all the way to the White House and reelected. If he had been white, it would never have happened. President Obama was the first affirmative action president.
The black dude who burned the black Church and blamed in on Trump supporters backs up this story. Remember him? He wrote "Vote Trump" on the Church and added a swastica - or was it 'white power'... so many liberal liars it's hard to remember.
The lesbian who carved hate messages into her own skin and blamed 'white men'... believes this story.
And the little liars at Oberlin College who faked a KKK sighting - they back this story too.
The woman at the college newspaper who wrote 'rape' letters to herself and blamed white conservative men... she BELIEVES!
Yep, all those folks and hundreds of other liberal liars say this story - unlike hundreds of others - is true. This time.
And the press falls for this crap one more time.
