Or, at the very least, begins to shift. The first loose brick turns out to be Suffolk County, where Sheriff Vincent DeMarco has decided to abandon his county’s sanctuary city policy. Hopefully, this is the first of many such reversals throughout the country. My only response to this pseudo-scholarly op-ed [Wapo: Trump can’t force ‘sanctuary cities’ to enforce his deportation plans] by open borders fanatics is, “Wanna bet?”

Harboring illegals is a federal level crime.
Trump is in charge ultimately of The National Guard in every state.
I’ll bet on Trump.
The Suffolk County referred to is in Long Island, New York.
One of the scary things we’ll learn under Trump is JUST HOW MUCH POWER the federal government really has - thankfully it will be used for our side.
As a mental exercise, I like to think of what Trump’s people can do each time some yokal shoots off his mouth. In this case, the police departments have tons of riot gear, such as Humvees and God knows what else...all ON LOAN from the federal government. Tell those police departments they now have to return it...guess what, no more mouthing off to Trump.
Just one example.
Yes, plus this putting on exhibit the hypocrisy of the left when it comes to local/state control vs. Federal control. They want virtually everything to be Federal law ... except when they don’t want to follow Federal law.
